What we collect
- From the buyer: your email address and order details. Payment is handled by Link (Stripe) or Etsy. We never see your card number.
- From your group: the first names people enter, their answers to the questions, and her partner’s answers.
- The keepsake: the host’s email, and the bride’s email if she chooses to give it, so we can send the record of the night.
- From the website and app: basic usage and error data (Google Analytics, PostHog, Sentry), so we can see what’s working and fix what breaks.
- From forms: what you type into our signup or contact forms.
How we use it
- To build and run your game, send your link, and help if something goes wrong.
- To improve the game.
- We email you about anything else only if you opt in.
Who we share it with. Only the companies that help us run Group Project: hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), the AI that writes the games (Anthropic), email (Resend), analytics and error reports (Google Analytics, PostHog, Sentry), and payments (Stripe/Link, Etsy). We don’t sell your data.
AI. Your group’s answers are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write the games. Anthropic doesn’t use them to train its AI models, and deletes them from its systems within 30 days.
Keeping and deleting. We delete a party’s names and answers 12 months after the game. You can ask us to delete your party’s data any time at hello@playgroupproject.com.
Children. Group Project is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
